November chills lead to warm up specials and admission discounts at local agri-adventure farm

The change in the weather has promoted an area business to offer “warm up specials” and a reduction on admission price in an effort to reward and inspire people to make the trek to the farm. Liberty Ridge Farm is amidst the end of their season with only 5 days left in their popular fall festival that includes a barn yard of over 55 acres that is filled with old fashioned games, shows and hands on activities. The farm is now offering a reduction to their admission price and a $5 upgrade that includes a plus pass wrist band, that is good for Unlimited Jumping Pillow and Cow Train rides, for a new price that reflects a savings of $7 from their standard price. Admission on November 10th,11th 12th, 17th & 18th will be at the reduced price of $8.50 with every paid admission receiving the $5 upgrade for the Plus Pass. The weekend warm up specials offers friends, families and youngsters a last chance to “Get Lost” in the cornfield, warm up by the community campfire or rent a cabin or campfire. Liberty Ridge has over 55 acres of fun, a community of rustic cabins and numerous comforting campfire sites that serve as a great place to nestle up, relax and share outdoor fun. The farm is offering specials that add to those memorable fall moments. Rent a crackling campfire site and receive FREE s’mores fixings including marshmallow roasting sticks for fun that is just feet away from the adventures. Families with children who are looking for a age appropriate play will find an outdoor setting that has food, fun and adventures in a single location. Liberty Ridge Farm warm up specials extend to their cabin rentals for 3 hour blocks and include Free Campfires a $40 value. Each cabin is located in their community of cabins named Camp Celebration. The farm has a wide variety of foods, hot drinks, snacks, warm apple cider donuts and other special treats are served daily. The farm has shows, entertainment and adventures including their popular game called the passport game. The passport game offers questions that if answered correctly provide navigational clues on the way out of the 11 acre corn field maze, this weekend will be the last time in 2012 the corn field maze will be open before being harvested.

Liberty Ridge Farm commences their fall festival jamboree September 22nd as the Schaghticoke fair departs the Capital Region. This year the 13th harvest season is jam packed with carnival style shows, agricultural adventures, food delights, themed weekends and much more.
