This yearly event is held during the Fall Festival Oct 6th, 7th & 8th of Columbus Day Weekend 2012. SCHAGHTICOKE,NY (10/05/2012)(readMedia)– Liberty Ridge Farm’s Family Farm Olympics are in full swing over Columbus Day Weekend, October 6th,7th & 8th. Friends and families are invited out for an autumn weekend of farm-tastic fun. The weekend is full of old fashioned games, potato sack races, 3-legged relays and inflatable bouncy horse races, followed by an awards ceremony where everyone takes home a commemorative medal! Liberty Ridge Farm has outdoor play, farm shows and a festival of adventures for all ages, with over 55 acres of fun and the largest and original cornfield maze in upstate NY. The Columbus Day Weekend Celebration is the largest in the Capital Region full of fall family fun, foods and the Battenkill Pony Club offering Pony Rides October 6th as part of their fundraiser, a $5 donation is requested per pony ride.

 

Liberty Ridge Farm turns from laughter to frights every October Weekend night with The Harvest Haunted Attraction. The Harvest Haunt provides 5 frightening experiences including a new scary 3D attraction, new frightening characters, a midway style sideshow, and a trolley ride to the fear side. Liberty Ridge Farm warns that their Haunt MAY BE TO INTENSE FOR: People With Weak Hearts, Those That Faint Easily , Small Children, Those who Frighten Easily Not Recommended for Children Under the Age of Eleven! Liberty Ridge Farm promises this year to make you scream, as they build upon their popularity among their new base of fall fear seekers. These fall fear explorers have been one of the driving forces in haunt upgrades, additions and improvements for 2012. The Harvest Haunt promises to provide more thrills and frightening experiences with some surprises not revealed until opening night.
