An ARMFULL of Pumpkins $10, Pumpkin Special Albany Saratoga Clifton Park
October 30th, 2012 by admin
Albany, Saratoga, Clifton Park Pumpkins.
Liberty Ridge Farm is having a Pumpkin Blowout for those looking for the best deals in the Capital Region on pumpkins. In an effort to make it fun, Liberty Ridge Farm has added a new twist to the fall sale on pumpkins with people driving to the farm to grab an armful, literally.
This will be the 1st time Liberty Ridge Farm has had the ARMFULL pumpkin sale. There is no other wacky pumpkin sale or blowout like it in the Capital Region !
This new style of sale was inspired by the owners who have seen many friends and families wrestle with pumpkins as they have attempted to carry as many pumpkins as they could to their vehicles. This was always perplexing as the farm provides little buggies and carts that patrons can use to ferry their bounty of pumpkins to their cars, but still, some insist upon carrying them in their arms.
It was after seeing this the seed was planted for a fun sale event. Now the requirement is that people who want to try to carry as many as they can in their arms to qualify to purchase the ARMFULL for $10. The farm looks to serve up some fun and fall joy through pumpkin craziness. The farm’s Pumpkin Sale is sure to make for some funny moments as people attempt to get the most for their $10 ARMFULL, dont miss out on the Pumpkin Blowout and fall fun.

Calling all little wranglers, families & friends, Western Days are filled with cowboys and cowgirls October 13th & 14th ! Liberty Ridge Farm steps back in time to the OLD West from 1pm to 5pm Saturday and Sunday in Schaghticoke, NY. Western Day Weekend offer friends and families and opportunity to share with their children as the farm looks to entertain little rustlers and wranglers, with cowboys, cowgirls, prospectors and a Sheriff looking for new deputies. The family friendly roundup features; live music, face painting, balloon artistry, barrel racing on inflatable horses, The Rope a Steer challenge, marshmallow gun target practice and over 55 acres of farm-tastic fun.
Live music will be a special appearance by “The Flood Road Boys” who hail from upstate New York, playing an original recipe of Acoustic Folk Grass music. The quartet features the lyrics of J. Peter Yakel (guitar/vocals), framed by instrumentalists, “The Professor” Chris Schultz (banjo), and Pete “The Treat” Murphy (bass). Together, the boys create an assortment of homegrown foot-stompers and eye-weepin’ ballads as varied and unpredictable as the northeast seasons.
Devilish fear seekers have something to do fall weekend nights in the Capital Region of NY. Liberty Ridge Farm transforms from a family friendly fun day time location into a frightful farm of screams and shrieks after dark every weekend night in October. New for 2012 Liberty Ridge Farm has 5 haunted attractions that serve up fear to those who dare to reserve tickets. Information can be found on www.hauntny.com. The Harvest haunt at Liberty Ridge Farm runs October 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th.
“Western Days are full of fun, with a celebration filled with Apple cider donuts and baked goods, exciting shows, old fashioned games and a western appeal that is exciting for all age groups,” said Cynthia Gifford owner of Liberty Ridge Farm. “Our weekend celebration welcomes a new roundup of little wranglers, cowboys and cowgirls looking to get deputized by the Farm Sheriff, have their face painted by Magic Brushes or have ballon artistry fashioned by Farmer Bruce. We encourage parents with kids and friends to wear western items such as bandanas or cowboy hats as the farm shares the spirit of the old west. Little ones can try the marshmallow guns, and take part in old fashioned games and hands-on fun in Brad’s Barnyard. Anyone who is interested in more information about this upcoming weekend can check www.libertyridgefarmny.com and click on our calendar on the top of the page. “
