Face painting fall festival 2013The farm is alive with the sounds of laughter and carnival style fun during September, October and November. The farm is a fall attraction that makes each child jump up, navigate around and slide their way down! Liberty Ridge has over 100 acres packed Cornfield Mazes, Barnyard games and hands-on activities that create daytime and nighttime adventures. Halloween 2013 LRFOctober 26th & 27th Halloween Days with Kids Monster Bash

Enjoy a festival of fun with Daytime Trick or Treating offered at 1:45 pm followed by the Monster Bash that is a Halloween Dance Extravaganza.  Little ones and Parents alike can dress the part and enjoy a party full of fun time fright located in the event tent.  The Monster Bash will be entertained by Disc Jockey.

As the fair rolls out of Schaghticoke, a hidden treasure is kicking off their fall festival.

Jumping Pillow fall festival 2013The fall means It is harvest time in the Capital Region and Liberty Ridge Farm invites friends and families of all ages out to kick off their 14th season. The fall festival begins September 21st and continues to November 11th jam packed with carnival style fun, food, shows and days of face painting, balloon artistry, magic shows and a barnyard of farm inspired hands on activities.

Liberty Ridge Farm begins their 14 th year as they grow memories with 2013 maze goers as they try to navigate out of the Spookley the Square Pumpkin labyrinth. The farm has become the premier fall destination by providing a welcoming laid back style filled with farm-tastic activities such as; the Amazing Jumping Pillow, the 80 foot underground slide named the Silver Mine Chute and the Cow Train ride.

The farm has traditional farm games such as pumpkin checkers, pumpkin tether-ball, pumpkin bowling and pumpkin tic tac toe and they even have pumpkin shooters that fire small pumpkins and much more. The farm staff begins each day with crackling warm campfires conveniently placed where you can sit and relax as you warm the soul. fun_meter new LRFWestern Days embrace the hearts of all age groups as we step back in time on the 100 acres of farmland.  Every where you go on the farm is full of fun, adventures, delicious food, hands-on activities including Pony Rides, Inflatable Pony Races, Roping and Riding, Face painting, Magic Shows and so much more.  Everyone who attends Liberty Ridge Farm is encouraged to wear western attire, bandannas, cowboy hats, cowgirl hats, boots and whatever western costume you desire.

The old west only comes to the Capital Region for 2 weekends on the farm.  Event the Staff will be adorned with Bandannas and cowboy hats, cowboy boots and the pumpkin princess will be making her rounds greeting each cowboy and cowgirl.

The leaves have all changed and dropped, but the fun hasn’t stopped in Schaghticoke, NY. Most people have put away their Halloween decorations and are now hearing Christmas music on the radio. As fall changes to winter, Liberty Ridge Farm is still open for family fun with excitement for the last weekend of outdoor warmin adventures. The farm will open November 17th & 18th from 11-5 with a discounted admission price of $8.50 that includes a $5 Plus Pass wristband, a Cup of apple cider accompanied by a Signature Apple cider donut served in the Farm Market. The Unlimited Plus Pass is good for Unlimited Jumping Pillow and Cow Train rides, that will bring smiles to all ages, even parents. Liberty Ridge Farm wants to remind everyone that children under 2yrs old are FREE. The farm promises to have their signature Apple Cider Donuts for sale, Lunch specials grilled up at Pitchfork and cracklin warm community campfires, jokes, shows and adventures.

The Fall festival weekend will mark the end of the 13th season as providing a friendly fall agri-adventure destination. Liberty Ridge Farm’s centerpiece is an 11 acres cornfield maze that has been harvested. Each year the farm cultivates the cornfield for a season full of fall family fun, but the corn also has a very serious side to it. The farm is very proud to say the corn-maze is harvested annually to provides tons of animal feed for local livestock, chickens, and large and small farm animals. Liberty Ridge Farm is amidst the end of their season with only 5 days left in their popular fall festival that includes a barn yard of over 55 acres that is filled with old fashioned games, shows and hands on activities. Calling all little wranglers, families & friends, Western Days are filled with cowboys and cowgirls October 13th & 14th ! Liberty Ridge Farm steps back in time to the OLD West from 1pm to 5pm Saturday and Sunday in Schaghticoke, NY. Western Day Weekend offer friends and families and opportunity to share with their children as the farm looks to entertain little rustlers and wranglers, with cowboys, cowgirls, prospectors and a Sheriff looking for new deputies. The family friendly roundup features; live music, face painting, balloon artistry, barrel racing on inflatable horses, The Rope a Steer challenge, marshmallow gun target practice and over 55 acres of farm-tastic fun.

Live music will be a special appearance by “The Flood Road Boys” who hail from upstate New York, playing an original recipe of Acoustic Folk Grass music. The quartet features the lyrics of J. Peter Yakel (guitar/vocals), framed by instrumentalists, “The Professor” Chris Schultz (banjo), and Pete “The Treat” Murphy (bass).
