If you’re looking for pumpkins, a full day of adventure is in store for the whole family just 30 minutes away. If you live in Ballston Spa head down 67 into Schaghticoke if in Clifton Park head down 146 it’s so simple to get to Liberty Ridge Farm, the area’s best kept secret.

Ever wanted to go see pumpkin chunkin ? It so cool to see those amazing inventions that propel pumpkins over ½ mile. Liberty Ridge Farm has a Giant pumpkin canon and New this year we have the destruction zone with miniature pumpkin canons. Fall time has never been so fun, when you can watch a pumpkin launch over ½ mile or shoot some pumpkins down range on your own, the smell of fresh Apple Cider Donuts in the air.

When you think of the fall and things to do with your family or friends, Liberty Ridge Farm will have you entertained for an entire day of festival style fun. The Pig races are just one of the things that people from all around come to see, its carnival appeal still beckons on when you here the bell and watch them zip around the track, run little piggy run !

Ever want to sit on a bench and watch your little ones play with other kids? It’s so much fun to watch them laugh and jump around on over 20 hands-on activities in Brad’s Barnyard adventure.

The corn crib is like playing in the dirt but its a huge building filled with corn kernels, kids relish being kids in this farm style fun. Liberty Ridge Farm is where we can all speak to that child inside, we can let go of the TV and electronic gizmos and have some good old-fashioned outdoor fun.

We didn’t even talk about the corn maze … WOW this year is something special for sure, The carnival spirit continues to grow in Schaghticoke, NY with one of the largest and original cornfield mazes in the Capital Region. Liberty Ridge Farm’s 13th fall festival jamboree begins September 22nd.  Just as the Schaghticoke Fair departs the Capital Region, the farm harvest season is jam packed with carnival style shows, agricultural adventures, food delights, themed weekends and much more.
